Atascadero Unified School District

UPC serves as a contract planning firm for the Atascadero Unified School District to conduct environmental review for development of their improvements to school facilities as a result of funding through the I-10 School Facilities bond. UPC has prepared the necessary environmental documents for CEQA implementation for the various schools projects. UPC prepared Mitigated Negative Declarations for the construction of a new Maintenance, Operations, and Transportation (MOT) Facility, and new construction at the Atascadero Junior High School. Notices of Exemption were prepared for several campuses that were receiving modernization measures including Carissa Plains Elementary School, Santa Rosa Academic Academy, Monterey Road Elementary School, and San Gabriel Elementary School. UPC assessed the projects for the proper scope of environmental review, managed public comment periods and presented the environmental documents for approval by the School board.
